Doe de klik platformgame

I recently did the design for a platformgame. It's about an icecream guy gone crazy. He want's to make the coldest icecream ever made. The 2 characters, Nick & Klik, are supposed to stop him.

Something I quickly made on my job. Could be resulting in an animation, could be ending up in the garbage (where he might be even happier). 

He lost 2 legs doing business with some rough cockroaches.

Vlamingen in de wereld

A while ago me and a friend, Isabelle Dubois, got contacted by Paradigma, a belgain television house. They asked us to make a small animation for 'Vlamingen in de werld', a department of the Flemish government which helps flemish people abroad.
Really nice people who give us a lot of space to 'play' and make something nice!

Here are some producionstills I made. The whole animation will be situated in a Belgian passport. Animation will be partially stop-motion, partially AFX.

I'm really enthousiastic about this one!

6+1 Intromovie

During my internship at 6+1, they asked me and my colleague to make a little intro-movie for the agency. This is what we came up with.
There's nothing wrong with a little absurdity!

All of the chracters were drawn in Illustrator and meticulously cut out. We had a lot of fun animating. It had to be animated blind, so my respect fot the early animators has grown even more!
Either way I'm really happy with the result

La Gourmande

My bachelorfilm!
Finished it a while a go and finally got myself to uploading it.
A long story short, more or less 5 months of work. The characters move rather harsh. I did it on purpose to save time and to blend more with the afx animation.

The story itself is about greed. Wanting to much, untill the very end.
Ofcourse, you're invited in seeing all sorts of messages in it, as long you are enjoying it!

Motion Graphic Volontaires

So here's another project of 6+1. The volontiers in Brussels get in the picture. Some crazy superman-dressed-offocial ran around in a cabinet in Brussels. Quite funny! Here's the link

Either way, 6+1 asked me to make a quick intro/motion graphic and spend as less time needed on it. The result is simple but nice. Logo was made by on of the graphic artists. I broke it down and made ist look 3D-ish.

Booster Woningfonds/Fonds du Logement

I' m doing an internship at 6+1. An advertising agency in brussels. They're still small but the winds are blowing in a very good way, which makes the atmospere even nicer! .

Since they're still small, interns like me get more responsibility in campaigns. The folowing campaign was thought up by one of the creatives after a hard meeting with the client. He had no idea how the animation should look like. All he said was not to comicy and with a 'booster' feeling.
Animation department was got an open door and this is what we came up with. Eventually the site and poster got to look the same. Hooray!

Title & credits

Here are the title and credits renders. I decided to name my film 'La Gourmande'. 'The Gluton' in English, or 'De Gulzigaard' in Dutch, but in feminin then. Since the film is about gluttony and most french words immidiatly make you think of food. Pomme frites! Either way, it was nice to make something quick and creative again after months of looking at my storyboard en wrestling with sounds!

Jack O'Lantern

A schoolproject that got a little out of control. It's the storyboard/animatic about the origin of Halloween. No sound, great colors! Figures are drawn in Illustrator, adjusted in photoshop and edited in premiere.It's designed for AFX animation.
