RELICS

Friends of mine have won a wildcard sponsorship of the city of Antwerp. They've asked me to design a flyer and poster for their festival. It's an artfestival with lots of bands and poetry and cultural highlights, should be fun!
Especially with such a great flyer! Yes i loved making it!

Dead High Wire

A friend of mine plays in a band, Dead High Wire. Very Nice! Check it out! Come to there showes and make them happy!
Here's their myspace link.

Beside all that he asked me to make a logo/cover for them and this is what I made for now. On or two things might change but overall I'm pleased with the result!

City

This one has been lying around for some time. Finished it just now. It's a gift for some friends who got themselves a nice flat. Hope they'll like it!
I drew the city with a POSCA 'permanent' marker on the glas and painted the siluetes on paper. Then I highlighted some of the buildings on the paper for some more depth. It's very cool when there's some light coming through, dropping a shadow on the paper!
Sorry for the pictures, my camera broke down and the glas gives one hell of a reflectioness mess!

Title & credits

Here are the title and credits renders. I decided to name my film 'La Gourmande'. 'The Gluton' in English, or 'De Gulzigaard' in Dutch, but in feminin then. Since the film is about gluttony and most french words immidiatly make you think of food. Pomme frites! Either way, it was nice to make something quick and creative again after months of looking at my storyboard en wrestling with sounds!

Clown

You got the stills, now it's time for the whole show. With sound! There you go, no problem. Enjoy!

Time for some updates!

Here's my second character, flying away on one of the motors of the ship. I feel happy when I watch him go! Go make something of your new, free life man!

Some Linetests!

I've began animating, finally. And here are some results! I kept the animations sober, hoping it will match the AFX animations. I started off with the Mermaid. Enjoy, I did! :)

Jack O'Lantern

A schoolproject that got a little out of control. It's the storyboard/animatic about the origin of Halloween. No sound, great colors! Figures are drawn in Illustrator, adjusted in photoshop and edited in premiere. It's designed for AFX animation.
